COURSE DESCRIPTION
Ideal for anyone who wants to listen and learn at their own pace from the comfort of home. This 5-session course is a compelling introduction to the practices of mindfulness and meditation, as well as the foundations of social and emotional learning (SEL). Participants will learn the basic principles and practices that they can easily integrate into their daily lives. Rich with stories, teachings and resources, the series is designed for everyone—from beginners to those with prior meditation experience.
When you take this course, you’ll have ongoing access to five prerecorded video sessions, with key points on each topic, articles, podcasts and meditation recordings for home study. You’ll also gain insight into developing a daily mindfulness practice and have the option to communicate with our mindfulness experts, who can answer your questions. When you finish the last session of the course, you’ll receive a Certificate of Completion.

WHAT YOU'LL LEARN
The Mindfulness Ambassador Program (The MAP) is evidence-based and combines two pillars for well-being: social and emotional learning (SEL) and secular mindfulness. Central to the program objectives are the acquisition of important soft skills that deepen self-inquiry, train attention, help identify & regulate emotions, manage stress and build healthy interactions. Led by MWB’s seasoned facilitators, participants explore the best of learnings from neuroscience and contemplative practices in an engaging, experiential and interactive online environment. The program is facilitated using the council process, which encourages learners to express themselves freely and openly and brings forth group wisdom. Ultimately, the MAP creates a safe learning space to hear all the voices in the room which unites the group because of its diversity and creates a sense of belonging.

This 4-session online facilitator certification program is designed exclusively for educators, social workers, health professionals, coaches, HR and corporate wellness managers who want to teach and scale emotional intelligence and mindfulness into their workplace settings. The Mindfulness Ambassador Program (MAP) has many different applications, including in one-on-one therapeutic sessions, college and university courses, secondary school classrooms and wellness programs. After the successful completion of this certification, an online upgrade is available for The Mindful@Work program tailored for corporate wellness programs, police academies, first responders, university and post-graduate settings, one-on-one therapeutic sessions and retirement homes.
